FOR COVID-19 VIRUS HOME RECOVERY PROGRAMME
As we transit into more self-isolation and home recoveries, it is imperative for COVID-19 patients and their household members to upkeep a clean and safe home environment. Cleaning and disinfecting of the home is advised to be done frequently, especially when there are visitors or as household members resume their outdoor activities and lifestyle.
Apart from that, it is important that cleaning and disinfecting MUST be done immediately after
1. Isolation period for the COVID-19 patient
2. Quarantine period for the entire household
Here are the items you will need to prepare before any Home Recovery Programme Disinfecting:
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), minimally gloves and surgical mask
- Well-ventilated with windows opened for at least 3 hours before cleaning
- Magiclean cleaning solutions
- Disposable cloths
- Pail and mop
- Toilet brush
CLEANING AND DISINFECTING TIPS
3. Bathroom
Disinfect the sink pipes and toilet floor trap with Magiclean Pipe and Sink Cleaner. Spray directly into sink pipes and toilet floor traps and let solution sit for 5 minutes before rinsing off with water.
Mix 1 capful of Magiclean Household Multi-Purpose Disinfectant with every 1L of water. Clean and disinfect all accessible surfaces e.g., basin, taps, toiler roll holders, soap dispensers, door handles, flush buttons, vanity counter drawers etc. Use a separate cloth for toilet seat covers.
Use Magiclean Dual Power (Non-Bleach) Toilet Cleaner or Toilet Bleach, along with toilet brush for thorough cleaning of toilet bowls. Flush with lids fully closed.
POST-CLEANING FINAL STEPS
1. Mix 1 capful of Magiclean Household Multi-Purpose Disinfectant with every 1L of water before soaking mop-heads and pails in the solution for 30 minutes to disinfect.
2. Double bag all trash collected before you remove all protective wear and wash your hands with soap and water.
3. Shower and change your clothes right after the clean-up and wash these clothes immediately.
